We're working on exactly that- We know that some of the cards certainly fit into the overall set better than others, so we're working on the slow process of updating cards to better fit-in.
I'd love to hear which cards you think need the attention.

As for cards that need attention... it's a tricky issue, my dislikes may be another man's likes. These three cards bug me:
beat and rusher    - The kiddie style does not seem appropriate to me
mTank Bois          - I just don't know what I'm looking at.
Tony numbers      - It's like a cartoon character of a forgetful uncle or mathematics teacher.

I think the personal dislikes carries with me with a couple of cards. I didn't like the art on Raul Grange because it doesn't look complete.

I think somewhat abstract art is fine for concrete cards, like with Erratus Librarian, but with cards like Score! and Dragon Company Lieutenant, they look pretty abstract for a concrete low rarity card.

...and I was charged with using Tony in the Very Long trip card.  That was fun!

I would also love to do some art. or redo some of the cards.

I'd like to see you do some more program art.

"AI-Search Algorithm" is pretty cool. Haven't seen any others by you. Are there any more?

My take on the art is that it would be nice if Factions and Card Types had more closely knit art schemes.

Roderique Roberts style does nothing for me when used for Physical Objects, like assets and gear.
But it works well for Programs, the flowing "oil on water" colors and very liquid look has a very Cyberspace/security cam feel to it. For programs with less tangible outcomes, such as Purely Financial hacks and AIs, I like the completely non representational art like what "Slurpy" used in "AI-Search" and "Invertix" used in "Glasnost 1.0"

I think that art for The UN, FUS and Corporate factions work much better when it's hard edged and realistic. Especially when it comes to their bases and equipment. The UN and FUS are both highly Military oriented groups, so their Equipment and People should be very uniform and Down to earth.

Corporate Buildings are almost always very Solid and Stable, and they have their share of Cookie Cutter assets, but with a few more Individualistic People at the top.

I like Muddy Watercolors for Covert People, it gives them a less Detailed look. So I like "Ortho", even though it's not as hard edged as a lot of my favorite Corporate Art, because it catches his Covert nature so well.

Watercolors and Sketchy looking stuff works well for Monastery and NoNames people and equipment. Monastery people have fluid genetics and lots of their equipment is cutting edge nano. NoNames people are very individualistic, and their equipment is often makeshift. So the details in the art for these factions should blur a bit, and be less average looking.

These are just some observations about how I perceive the function of the art in CX.
Any mention of specific Artists and Art pieces is not meant as Criticism of the Artists or pieces. Instead it is my opinion as to how their styles and pieces fit with certain card types in CX.

I believe that all of the Artists who have contributed to CX are First Rate.
I may not always be happy with how certain pieces fit with the card they are on,
or how they fit in CX as a whole.
But I must give them credit for the time and effort they put in as Artists.

Craig Worrell: General Pendergast - Quality equal to spawn comic book artists and I love this asset
Christopher Appel: Rook Class Assault Chassis - His mastery of shading and light effects are very realistic
Koa Beam: Jessica Silivir & Tear-Gas Missile - Jessica is just so useful, I wouldnt want her to look anything but good while helping my deck out
Omar Rayyan: Gaean Crusader - Just look at the cyborg... you dont see that in CX alot
Iam Wells: Active Armour, Sensei Operative - Characters look dark, battle scarred, and tough just like life is in 2091
Courtney Skinner: Taikun Cleaner - Just a very nice looking agent
Bruce Patnaude: SLAM Launcher - Very realistic
George Carroll: Solenoid Gun - A concept item used by Tom Cruise in Minority Report, Carroll came up with this idea before the movie! Very innovative
Clayton Chambers: Veteran Mercenary - Rumor has it the mercenary was modeled after Clayton Chambers himself. Just plain old badass no
Mike Dreher: Rakan Development Center - Cool looking, fine lines
Bryan Eppihimer: Surgical Strike & UNMF Infantry - Surgical detail

There are more good artist out there. Sorry if I missed you guys. But I am glad you were there when it all started. Your artwork gave us a glimpse of the future. Thanks!
