Releasing all the cards wouldn't be as much fun for people; Even if you'd enjoy it, a lot of people would be sad.
There are volunteers who are going to take over the Tournaments starting this weekend- I've already sent them prize support, so you can still earn cards by playing.

Anyway just a question /suggestion to the devs

Given that now there is no way to get new cards ( apart from trading ) maybe you could make a patch that would unlock all cards on the old cx client?

This is true. I'm not sure about others, but I am a professional software developer. I wouldn't mind donating some of my free time in helping to develop CX2.
